Operational since the 80s in a former residential property in a salubrious part of town, the tuitorial college was a small independent school for adolescents who hoped that the small class sizes would improve their GCSE and A' Level performance, with a view to attending Oxford or Cambridge later on.Some students came from overseas and stayed with host families.
By 2009, the principal was a regular in the Harrogate Advertiser court pages due to his behaviour out of work and the college went bankrupt, eventually closing its doors in 2012.
An information security nightmare, this place is littered with sensitive documents; however, I'm more interested in its well-stocked library and plan to revisit for a few hours quality reading time in the near future.
