Before the adventures at Parklands, the first location myself and an old friend checked out was this old garden centre located outside the village of Shiplake, near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. I had heard about it on the radio in the days leading up to the trip as there are new plans in place to develop the location apparently.
The garden centre closed in 2009 and a new one opened up on the other side of the village. Since then it's had a lot of it's glass smashed and some 'interesting' graffiti dotted around parts of it! There are plans in place to demolish everything and build up to 40 homes and an office block on the land.
I've somehow done a few of these kind of places this year, and this one is the grottiest of them all but it's somewhere else ticked off in my home county so that's a good thing in my book.
Thanks for looking
