Hoxa Batteries, WWI and II remains: searchlight emplacements, lighthouse base, gun batteries and associated buildings and earthworks.

And another underwater shot of an anti aircraft gun from a German Destroyer F2.

Oh, brilliant! Loads of excellent stuff to see there. Especially like the C.A.S. Emplacements...not so many of those around these days.
That's quite a large battery in the pic where you're walking around the surround. It looks similar to a 6Pdr, but presumably that was for a larger size gun...maybe our own AA Guns, or not?

That was my mate who was looking to see what the view was like. We were also looking on the other islands to see what was there to look at.
