There's something suspiciously film-set about the house. For a start there is remarkably little dust and cobwebs if it's really been abandoned since 2015. The objects seem to have been placed with an eye to creating a set for a haunted house movie, rather than being genuinely left behind by a real inhabitant.
Why would an army major keep a vintage doll on his bed?
It's a fake. Someone's having a joke.
Yes its fake, what I did was bought a house & sprinkled it with a few antiquities so I could take some pics... what have you been smoking!
Ok Im assuming you are not a seasoned explorer / photographer so I will explain.
Pretty much all residentials are owned by someone so the status of "abandoned" is always controversial as indeed are residential explores in general.
I dont personally know when this house was left but can assure you noone was living in it at time of our explore, as I stated we were watching the property for a while.
Its possible that the house was in probate which most of the good ones are & its also possible or I would say likely that someone was periodically checking the property, which is why within a few weeks of it appearing on fb, youtube & generally going to the masses it was cleared out & sealed up!
Im not that keen on residential explores but have prob done 100 (a small percentage of places Iv explored) & the only way to keep them like this is not to share with anyone until such time as they are already out there, believe me Iv done plenty more that have remained like this undiscovered until they have been restored.
Anyway to answer your comments yes we did "stage" some of this. Again a controversial thing & something I dont do very often but it just felt right here.
there was a lot of nice stuff that would of been otherwise unseen if they were left in draws.
Really dont see how this becomes "haunted house movie" I guess if u believe in that **** u may see it that way.
Didnt do a lot though, from memory we did the doll, the hairbrushes & set the kitchen table.
The ornaments were pretty much left as they stood.
Also the art of photographing a house like this IMO is making it look... well better than it actually is.
Iv attached a few pics that show the real state of the place, the front bay was essentially split off the building.
I have heard its actually that bad it is being demolished but will have to confirm that next time im out that way.
Anyway below are a few other residentials Iv done with very little staging for your viewing pleasure & just to prove they do exist
