Door factory March 24

A huge loss to the town when this factory closed back in 2022. It was one the biggest employers with people losing their jobs when this sire and a couple of others closed down and moved premises.
A fire was deliberately started back in February with a local teen arrested for arson. Alot of the buildings are inaccessible so jot alot of internal photo's. There is security on site although I didn't bump into them.
The building I really wanted to get inside was inaccessible, and had been derelict alot longer than the rest of the site, and looked so much more interesting. Have seen BikinGlyns report from inside and it is alot more photogenic.
I wasn't intending to go here when I popped into town, but decided there and then, so didn't have appropriate exploring clothing on, flared jeans, and when stepping over the bike stands I tripped over them face planting, and hurting my shin amd back

great reason to go alone just feel a complete dick to yourself!

Looks great, worth persevering if you're local as the buildings will likely open up. Reminds me of the plywood factory at Pine End Works in the Forest of Dean, I guess that's not surprising as most doors are skinned with plywood… Somewhere I'd like to see if it wasn't so far away, maybe a summer road trip…
