So, had a fab weekend up in Cheshire with ThenewMendoza being the perfect host and guide. First we stopped off at Dorma, TnM has all the history, and im sorry there aren't that many pics, strangely enough, a lot of them have suddenly disappeared. But actually spent most of the time oohing and aahing at everything, and not taking enough pics lol.Anyway, enough of me wittering on. Onto the few pics i have.

Nice selection, I used to have kitchen units like those when I was young.

This was the first place me and SmileySal hit and it's a great explore, and surprisingly underdone on the exploring scene, more people should do this place, it's not only huge but jam packed with interesting stuff.

I first visited on Boxing Day last year (2007) with Havoc, R1 and Lawrence and really enjoyed it, so thought, Sal would enjoy the place as it's on the way to Manchester from her neck of the woods.

The factory has gone under different names over the years including, Forge Bleach Works, Dorma Limited and Kaleidoscope Textiles. The latest information we could find onsite was dated 2005, so one assumess it closed sometime three years ago.

Here are my pics.

What a lovely old building! Love the huge vat thing in the yard. I remember Dorma...quite a big name for duvet covers and bed linen. Didn't realise it was no more.
Nice work you two.

YAY, I knew I had more pictures from here, I've just found them at mum and dad's on their computer, God knows why they were on there and not on mine. Anyway, onto the rest of the pics.

It looks like some sort of Flat upstairs here. The camera started playing up whilst we were in there, so only two pics from the flat.
