Ok, had a couple of hours to spare and thought i'd visit the Leeds Reformatory in Adel. It was my first urbex (of many) and was pretty interesting to say the least
So I picked up my little compact camera and set off
Got there and it was really weird, the only noises were the birds and the sound of rain on the leaves on the ground;
I can see why it didn't catch on as student accommodation;
It's a real shame about the community center;
Main entrance;
Looks like kids still get into the buildings, lots of fresh boarding to replace what's been ripped off (either that or someone really doesn't like Man U );
A forlorn and lonely fan still turning;
This place could have looked pretty before the newer buildings were added;
What was this building originally? Deliveries?
Got a bit of a shock when I walked round a corner and found that number 12 is still occupied, made a sharpish about turn.
These are the pics I managed to get before i was politely but firmly asked to leave by an elderly couple (could have lived at number 12, could have been from the farm next door). Saw loads of PIR sensors/lights around which suggests that it would be quite difficult to have a night explore around here without being cought
Anyway, hope you enjoyed my first report, I'll stick another one up soon
