That looks like a nice relaxed explore (apart from the access! :eek: ). What did they quarry there sp, do you know? Have you got any pics of the quarry bed itself? This is a long shot but might it have been granite? Sorry about all the questions... :lol: ...I'm into quarries. :)

You know guys, I'm not to sure what was quarried here, there's no obvious signs of slate or any other rock. It's only about half the size of a football field but I will investigate further and report back. And I'll keep of the curries and beer so I can slither through next time.

Yeah, my wife has developed that attitude, she was almost in tears over my first 2 underground explores, but now she is chosing suitable clothing for my next trips.
