This post is reported as being demolished on Subbrit.
A chance conversation with my contacts at STW lead us to believe that this might not be the case, and a trip to Erdington Resevoir was arranged with them.. Bobblehead and myself were not disappointed, nobody had been down since 1992.
The post is located within a secure compound that is within the compound of the resevoir, so is very secure.
Locked on the T Bar and new padlocks fitted when we left.

The post instrument table, most likely dating from WWII and indicating that there was probably an orlit somewhere nearby at one time, this had the locations of local features marked on it, so is totally unique to this post.

Sorry to post so many photos of an ROC post, but I doubt this one will be visited again for a very long time!!
