excuse my ignorance, still new to ROC's! but what is a BPI?
i take it it's the gauge with kilopascals marked on it?

It's known as both the Blast Pressure Indicator or Bomb Power Indicator. Very simple really, measures air pressure in kPa and combined with readings from the post's Ground Zero Indicator and similar readings from other local posts the bomb's position, altitude and power could be calculated. From this and local weather conditions, the HQs could work out the likely fallout region.
