Hi all
Had an early start recently, so decided to go and visit Wolsey, which is currently being pulled down. I'd read some recent reports - it seemed like an amazing site.
My photography isn't the best, but I'm getting better so bear with me! I definitely need a tripod. I was struggling too as I made the mistake of putting a crap set of batteries in the camera, so they didn't last long.
This seemed a bit random. I have no idea what it's for. There are 6 tube like things at the top...
...then a bit at the middle with another 6 tube like things...
Then there's this hole in the ground / drain...
Incidentally, there were lots of these little holes and drains about, so be careful. Also there's lots of broken glass about so if you are going to go (and make it soon, it's all coming down), then be careful.
Onto the first building I came across.
It was a 2 storey building with one wall ripped off so it was open to the elements. On looking at the contents, I'd guess it was a store room as there were big metal cupboards upstairs.
Just to the left of the picture above, was a set of stairs. Up I went...
The floor and stairs worried me a little so I didn't spend long. Just long enough to take a few pictures.
Not sure exactly what this once read, but I could read a date of 1978. I was born in '78!
Obligatory chair shot!
I found this too. I only noticed when I was looking at the pictures that it was from 1998.
There's some amazing graffiti here. I got distracted by the graffiti sometimes, so I ended up taking few exterior shots. This has to be my favourite and got my inner geek quite excited!
Don't want to clog the thread up with too many pics so I've uploaded more to my photobucket account:-

The photos were all taken with a Fuji S5000
