anyway seing as in general its not open to the public and i was free to roam quite a bit i thought id take some snaps

RAF Barkston Heath is located on East of Barkston and the A607, South of Ancaster, about 6 miles North-East of Grantham in Lincolnshire. Barkston Heath is home to the Joint Elementary Flying Training School (JEFTS). JEFTS is an MoD organisation but the aircraft and some of the instructors are civilian - the remainder being a mixture of pilots from the three branches of the forces. Barkston Heath is also a relief landing ground (RLG) for the nearby RAF Cranwell.

Hello Mr.Sam :) thanks for the link

What kind of things did you buy from the BMFA

I went last year was a good day out :)

ooooooooooh excellent Mr Sam, like this. Was very near to Barkstone Heath on Sunday when TnM were roaming around the area. Saw a load of model aeroplanes down at Spittalgate in Grantham as well on Sunday? Where both things connected?

Yep, what things did you buy there lol. And did anyone have a model Lancaster flying? If i could have one of those, I'd fly model planes.

Love the control tower. Nice to see they've just added the new glass part ontop of the old WW2 tower.

Excellent pics,

:) Sal
