Pillbox Colchester, Near the Hythe

Just a few photos of a Pillbox near to me, theres loads near me ive just never thought about them really, quite a few are bricked up but this one isnt and is frequented by chavs unfortuneatley, anyway heres a few interior and some exterior shots.

Theres a few more near me that i can document if you want? The others are mostly gated and bricked up and flooded but i could still photograph the outsides i spose, i can think of at least 2 others very near to me.

Was it uniformly hexagonal? Looks like a Type 22 if it was. Great to see the metal shutters still on the loopholes. Photos of the outside are always useful to check out the type.

Find? colchester is littered with hexagonal pillbox's and yes this one was uniformly hexagonal, ill photograph the others round my area tomorrow or the day after
