On my wanders the other day i came across this random concrete structure built next to the river, nearby theres a pillbox and this strucutre appears of been backfilled with a load of earth and i could only see the top opening a hatch, was just curious as to what this was, is it an old war building or just a random lump of concrete.

Its raining at the mo otherwise id pop out and take some more, it has sloped sides and is right on the waters edge. Ill take some more once the rain stops pouring down :)

It looks "war-like" to me due to the metal work round the hatch. Without further pics I can't say what though.
