Was doing a bit of a de-clutter on photobucket and came across these shots.
These were taken nearly a year ago when me and lisaramone thought it would be a good idea to leave the kids at Grandma's and take a walk round 'Tish.
Anyway, these were taken during a walk around Watch House Point on the coast path.

Outside of searchlight position overlooking the entrance to the Haven

From the inside, unchaved but battered by the elements

Right next to the coast path are two gun emplacements that look over the Haven towards Chapel Bay in Angle

Again, pretty unchaved and used by path walkers in bad weather.

Evidence of camo paint and Fire Point signage. Also, a piece of 'Tish art called 'The Knob'!

By this time, lisaramone was getting cold and bored and wanted to go to Dale for a Strongbow but before heading back to the car, took a couple of shots of the lookout post

This is the collapsed top roof that you see from the path above

Go passed this and the lower level is still open

And stencilled on the lintel above

Nice and easy explore that involves no tresspassing. On a nice day!!!! the views are pretty cool.

The emplacements are right next to the path and very easy to explore but just be careful with the searchlight and the lookout, they are off the path and quite close to the edge!!!

lisaramone enjoyed her Strongbow down the Griff in Dale, I enjoyed my Guiness and was up for a bit of a bender but decided it would be a good idea to rescue my folks from the kids.

Hey Chizy. Nice pics mate, i havent been here yet either, ive gotta pull my finger out and get down there aswell! Nice to see those old stencils of the planes are still visable. So when u next gonna get ur arse back to sunny Pembs.?

nice one
you did well to spot the stencilled bit.

Was first shown them when I was about 15 (1980 something ). Had a few mates from school who lived in the 'Tish/Marloes/Dale area so spent loads of time down there.

Spent a few summer evenings down in the lookout drinking cider, licking rizlas, giggling, muncheeing before going to an under 18's alcohol free disco at 'Tish sports club!!

Ah, life was gooooood

dumpty- Oct or Nov, need to pick up some tyres for the Rangie :)
