Had a look round the station back in January but didn't go underground . I decided to go back today and have a proper look around including the whole underground station.
The place is looked over by mad farmers and birdwatchers, one mad old Coot told me that is was still MOD property and I would be busted
LOL at his wrinkly old ass.
The history of this place has been done to death but it was part of the Chain Home Radar system and closed in the mid 1960s.
This is a video of the Main Operation Area, soory about the looking down all the while but the place is a death trap.
