Was up there the other week, got a few pictures will be up there in the next week or so and am going to get some more pictures of the inside. They are in the upper Swansea valley and called Patti Row, and they were used by workers in the limestone quarries in the area of Craig-Y-Nos. The quarry closed in 1977, and most of the village was demolished in the 1980s. Will post up more information as and when I find it out

Great find. Its nice to see that the building has fallen into dereliction naturally rather than being vandalised like the usual places we see! Nice one.

Love the different colour and type of masonry betwenn the main walls and fireplace.

Thanks for the comments, I would think as you say it has just fallen apart naturally apart from the fact that the slates were most lightly nicked off the roof.
 
Found this picture of the cottages from many years ago ( the one’s in the background), next time I am up that way will take a few more pictures as there is lots of other things up there to look at.
