Fairmile Asylum Mortuary & Chapel Of Rest - December 2008

Finally after endless phone Calls and Emails we found the Mortuary at Fairmile. Its 3 Rooms Joined together room 1 wasn the Slab which we couldnt get into as its bored up, Room 2 is a very small with only 3 body shelves in the Fridge and 6 on the walls inside the room looks like a prepration room for the bodies as it was interlinked internally to what looked to be a chapel of rest which was room 3. There were also Cinerary Urns in room 2 so it seemed they did on-site cremations.

So you made it, well done! What's the thing on the floor in the chapel of rest? Some kind of coffin stand?

It would have been on the table just a coffin to display the bodies to the families i guess not very deep but had the head rest inside it
