Excellent pics mate, really like the look of the salon, and the stairs, liked those when we were there. Still haven't got back here, and still haven't got in the salon yet. We'll definitely have to get back up to here soon.

Its a big old place isn't it. We spent over 3 hours there and didn't get to see everything.

Yeah the phones are cool, there were loads of them everywhere
Good explore this. Had to leave early a couple of times now, even after 3 or 4 hours .

its closed about 2004/5 here are some of my pics, was a great place to see i was surprised to see so much left.
shame to see the big round table in goldies 6th pic down left as it was a gift to the uni in 1940!!

About 2005 I think, though don't quote me on that. I think the campus is now situated in the centre of buxton, Im sure someone more local could confirm this.

Yep, it's on Devonshire Road in Buxton, just around the corner from the railway station.
Good work,Its good to see its not been totally trashed.We spent half a day in the place earlier in the year and I am sure we missed bits.Its shameful how much "good"stuff they just abandoned when they left.
Well worth a visit before they demolish it and turn the site into yet more matchbox houses which I believe is the plan according to hoardings outside
