Doh, posted this in the wrong section:mad:

Anyway....
This was one of the first places I went to and had a look round. It turned out quite interesting

First off we (I went with my g/f) found sheets from scripts for a TV program after having a look through them, we discovered it was for the BBC film, In Denial of Murder, which made by Hat Trick Production. It was about a local newspaper editor named Don Hale, who campaigned for the release of Stephen Downing who was wronglyfully convicted of murder of Wendy Sewell. There were itineraries for days, these showed what time the actors were due to be picked up from their hotel (The Matlcok Bath Hotel) and what time filming was due to start and finish. Like a twonk I didn't take any pics of those, but did get a couple of details that showed the filming was there.

We also found a blue A5 folde, which was very strange. It had forms from a hospital (one in Salford), but they were all for patients who had been treated there for differents forms of cancers. The forms had names, DoB's, address (not full address but town), first seen, last seen, some had death dates aswell, type and location of cancer, there were a couple of other bits on them aswel. It was totally out of place and I can't understand why it wa sthere anyway....

Because S & E JOHNSON are animal feed manufacturers and have only moved a couple of miles up the road.

The site itself was offices on the one side and production buildings on the other. The offices were pretty trashed, mainly by metal hunters and possibly asbestos removal. The production buildings were pretty bare as quite a bit of stuff had been auctioned off. Wasn't that good an explore to be honest as it was my first and was next to a main-ish road that had regular traffic, so everytime we saw car headlights, especially if they were driving slowly we pooped ourselves

The site is flat now, most of it is now being used for storage of building materials. The only regret (apart from not taking pics of the scripts or the folder) is that there was a filing cabinet on it's side and after having found the scripts and teh folder I thougfht there might have been something interesting in it. Tried lifting it, but is was very heavy so was probably full and couldn't turn it over as it was in what would have been a doorway :(

Sorry in advance for the picture quality, but it was a mixture of first explore and using cam phone.

In what would have been the offices, but must have been some labs nearby aswell due to what was there..

Was fun climbing up to get these pics, up the inside of the building but with parts of the sides missing and it was easily seen into from some sort of railway sidings that are next door, the wooden ladders felt a bit rickety too..

The tank that supplied this tap, stank of ****, it really did. Do they use slurry in animal feed?

I'm guessing this controlled the production equipment..

The only shots I got of clues to it being used in the filming of, In Denial of Murder..
