My first post in what seems like years! I've taken a bit of a break from urbexing to do concert photography but I found this place the other day by chance and thought, there's no way I'm not checking it out!

This used to be part of Colchester Institute and even though I live in the area I don't remember it shutting. I know a lot of people who used to go here so it's quite surreal seeing it in this state. Although of it has been gutted there was still plenty to see and lots of little remnants of when it was open. It still had the original Covid warning signs scattered around from the beginning of the pandemic. It was almost like a scene from the game 'Fallout'.

Anyway here's the shots I got. Hope you enjoy!

Welcome nice first post, don't let it be the last. There is a guy down the road from me who photographs concerts

What does the extent of criminal damage show for modern day Britons? And what on Earth does an "Educational Producer" truly produce? The rows of numbers and letters pinned to a board had me thinking of how my brother and his wife bought a series of cards showing the alphabet and zero to ten, and stuck them to the walls of their young children's bedroom as a low-level frieze. A constant source of education for them. But they were just a few years old. Why those letters and numbers at the Colchester Institute? Are Essex children very later developers?

Hi looks great. Whats security like please? If any? Live nearby so looking to take teen as looks fairly safe. My kind friend sent me this
