Another one that had been on my 'must do' list for ages.

A chapel and rest home tucked away in literally the middle of nowhere, the rest home has suffered a large fire at some point in the past but mercifully the chapel has remained undamaged, maybe down to luck but maybe Belgian arsonists have a sliver of a religious conscience (wishful thinking hey!)

As you will see by this time the snow was getting much worse which only added to the feeling of utter isolation in this place, I will go so far as to say it's one of my single favourite places I've photographed, certainly one of the most beautiful.

I think it was more of a hospice/care home than a hospital, the fire has badly damaged about half of the building but there were a few rooms intact. The chapel is pretty special though!
