This is my first post, first got into urbex five months ago after reading ghost-trains website about Hellingly, but soon realized I had been doing this all my life, just not with a S.L.R. in my hand. It's a bug that quickly turns into a passion! I love the exitement of finding somewhere that could be a possible 'Gem' ... Also the thrill of getting in, passing the obstacles that are thrown in your way, sometimes unpleasant smelly and dirty. But to have the pictures that tell the story is worth all the tea in China ...
Took a snoop at this hospital it has some wonderful features hope you like the pics.
Peace

welcome to dp mimulus ;)

thats a colourful looking place, any chance u can sort the first couple of pics out, hopefully there may be a couple of room shots as well

Nice one mate, really like your shots. Was going to go down here a little while ago but we decided it wasn't worth a look as it seemed a bit plain. You've disproved that, this goes on the wish list.

Looks a good place.
Liking the window shots with the reflections.
Thanks for sharing :)

A compliment

I love your pictures, especailly the black and white one with the seahorse on the window. I trying to find a freind to explore a location with me, but I know its not for the faint hearted!! Keep up the good work.

Great shots and welcome.
I only got a camera about a year ago (a present from my mother,) I used to draw all the places and never knew the word 'urbex' until stumbling upon this forum, nor for that matter how many other people were doing something I thought I was wierd for doing; namley seeking out derelict buildings/sites.
Your shots have a clarity and HD quality that mine simply lack! I see you have used some effects to great effect.
Could you possibly let me know what camera and enhancing 'stuff' you are using; or perhaps the question should be? how are you using them?
Most excellent shots - cool stuff.:)

amazing building

I love this place, used to walk past it every day wondering what was inside! How did u get in?? Its boarded up pretty high i seem to remember

This looks amazing! I walk past this very often and am now defo going there in the near future. How did you manage to get in?
It reminds me a lot of Severalls Mental Assylum in Colchester. You should go there, its massive and loads of photo oppurtunities!:)
