Spring of 2019 is the latest reports I’ve seen on this place and oh how it has changed since then! It was “clean” a year ago, now trashed beyond belief but it did not disappoint as being one of the creepier places I’ve explored.
The history has been borrowed from several reports, funny enough all copied from each other...
Anglo Beef Processors (ABP) is one of the largest meat processing companies in Europe. The Blisworth site opened in the 1960’s and closed its doors in 2004. There is a derelict garden centre on one side and Olleco oil recycling on the other which is also an associated company of ABP.
The explore: The first explore was with a non member and the other half of the Funky Muffin crew. I recently went back to get more shots and I do have to admit it was cleaner than the first time we went but it spooked me nonetheless. It’s pitch black and easy to get yourself turned around. The building creaks, bangs and has the sound of dripping water. Fridge doors have been torn from their hinges and rubbish strewn all over but there were no needles in the offices above, just lots of porn. I’d like to go back again and redo some shots but with a new fence between Olleco and the abattoir and the fact it is being cleaned up makes me wonder what’s in store for the place.
I’ve included some shots of the garden centre. Thanks for looking.
