Aston Hall(again) Devastation

Aware this place has been on here many times, here's my take on it with descriptions as I saw the place last week.

I've seen pics of this from last year and thought the place was wrecked but now all I can say is 'devastation'.

A warning to the pikey's/gypos.

Looks like they ignored it and Stihl sawed the steel down anyway.

Body sized hole in the wall. Why?

Visual stimulus aid in a ceiling.

Engineering room close to the Rolls engine. Below this a pit full of water, depth unknown-beware.

Self portrait in yet another smashed mirror.

A khazi intact! (for now at least)

And one not so intact.

Wasp nest?

Mirror intact but some unknown grafitti painted on it. Any idea what it says?

Radiator fluid leak (seen in every room where they were stolen hastily from)

Lovely tiles seen in many wet rooms unsmashed!

This pic is of a carpet on upper floor, mouldy.

Walls smashed through.

I wouldn't mind but every room has doors that open.

Must have been great fun doing this.

The local kids are a bunch of clusterfu*ks, in the space of a year this place has gone from "pleasently derelict" to "totally stripped" to almost not being worth the trip even if you're local.....

Last I saw the roof of the hall had caved in to the rear of the stage, the hall itself seemed in fairly good condition. This was last summer though.

I did that once

I went to school with kids from Aston, needless to say their destructive tendencies were not restricted to an abandoned hospital.

I now know how the security blokes at American Adventure feel...
They now actively patrol the perimeter in their cars - boring!

Kids will be kids and pikeys will be pikeys....

Did you all just sit at home or play football when you were kids or did you go cherry knocking and hedge jumping and such ...And were you told you were little buggers because your parents wouldn`t have done them things...

It`s just a sign of the times really with the kids i`m sure they don`t mean any harm really they just think differently to us.

With the pikeys they just do what they do to get money and in this day and age money is hard to come by.

I don`t condone what either group do but i understand it...Just i understand why people can`t fathom for a miniute why anyone would want to go a photograph such places and actually NOT take the things they see that they could sell.... I was talking to two guys at work that couldn`t understand why i would bother to enter a biulding that has stuuf worth nicking and leave empty handed.
