Aston Hall Hospital - Jan 2008

Had a scout around here today with fezzyben, the local kids have done a fine job in smashing the place up.

Relatively "new" by the usual hospital standards on here, no breathtaking architecture, more for function than form but here we go....

Basement first

Workshop building

Accomodation buildings, kind of samey but you could see that they used to be pleasantly decorated, a far cry from the victorian era

It reads
"Let no-one be willing to speak ill of the absent"

Nice photos ashless, especially like the 2nd one (absolutely no idea why, though! Just find it appealing for some reason).

like the murals and paints in some of the rooms, and really like the one with the triangle and shapes in the accommodation rooms.

Not really heard about this hospital before, so great to see new places, and different views etc.
