So I saw this place when I was in the car the other day, it looked like it was split into 2 or 3 sites, with at least one looking like it was still being used daily.

I got the bus over today, initially just to scout the place for future reference really, but as it was a Saturday, the second (middle) site looked empty, although I think its always like this.

I found a way in, and spent about 20 mins in, like I say, this was just a quick visit, I'll be going for a proper look in the future.

A point of interest, there was a 360 CCTV camera on a pole in the middle, and if it was active (which tbh I don't think it was), it surely caught me. I only noticed it on the way out, so surely if anyone saw me, I'd have been approached.

I saw no sign of life at all on this site, but the site next door was clearly being used.

Anyway, on with the pics

AWESOME! When was the place closed? My dad deals with BOC because he is a balloon pilot and they supply helium for the direction testing party balloon we send up. They dont supply the propane though.

I'm not even 100% sure it is closed, but judging by the state of the particular site, and the main building in particular, I'm guessing it is.

It could have just been that it was a weekend, but the site next door was defo in use still, and I think the site to the other side was aswell

It's sort of inbetween two active sites, but they make up one big site.

Either way, I'll be back up for a proper look next weekend, so I'll post a full report then

Some nice industrial goodies there. Looks like a fairly big site, too.
Good call getting in and taking some shots...be great to see more from your next visit.
Cool. :)
