My little bro and i had to drive from Hastings to Strood to collect an eBay purchase, and spotted this place on the way up, felt i couldn't drive past it on the way back without stopping for a bit of a mooch.
Unfortunately i didn't realise where i was until i got home to research it.
I'm hoping to return once the weather picks up a bit, i had to ditch A LOT of my photos when i got home, as they didnt come out very well, and i now realise that i've missed a few good photos. It was overcast and late afternoon when we visited, and VERY cold.....cold enough in fact for it to be snowing lightly while we were there!
Didn't really help that we only had the lights on our phones to explore with, and the flash on the camera for taking photos! Had to brighten most of the pics up in Photoshop before posting them.
I found that nelly had done a previous report on this site, and covered the history very well, so i thought i might just put a link to his thread >HERE<
So on with the pics. Firstly the exterior shots:
Then we made our way inside:
The date on this is 8 Nov 2005, just in case it cant be read since i resized it:
Floor level's dropped a touch in some rooms:
Anyone for a drink:
And the obligatory chair shot:
