hi there this is my first thread so exscuse me if it's a little rough
drove past this wonderful building a few times and just grabbed a mate and went inside
what a good place to go in ,first off the is a good atmosphere inside
and with plaenty to look at,trouble is you have to be careful of the junkies or the pikies that sometimes visit
any way hope you like the pics and any coments or questions will be answered

yo dude its ya sidekick here. as normal the pics look spot on but i have to say YA LEFT THE BEST 1 OUT!!! (the 1 of me through the hole in the wall). 8)

Can you tell us a bit more about the history of the building or what it was used for (hospital, care home, mental health) etc?

Pictures are meaningless without a little context.

hi there
originally the site was used as a childrens home
the children had mental problems and was shut down in the 90's,where it changed name to hawkhurst hotel,even though the brickwork above the door still said babies castle
