Despite Beedingwood being set on fire and demolished last year, i decided to go back and do some 'early archaeology' and scoured the site for remains of the interesting details that had always made Beedingwood so attractive.
I was amazed just how much i found to photograph in the late afternoon sun. Tiles, original cast iron guttering, large segments of chimney, some initialed sandstone, huge structural supports and even a 90% complete floor still in situ.
Its the finest pile of rubble i've ever seen!

I don't make a habit of visiting rubble but this place is an exception, hope this is a worthwhile read.
