We visited this location a couple of years ago whilst still living in Wales, bit of a bugger to find, but well worth it, after finding it I spoke to the farmers next door, asked who owned it etc and if it was o.k for us to go take pics!, it's owned apparently by a Canadian who hasn't been near for 20 years or more!, it was originally a grand house & reputed to be the home at one pint of the Welsh Prince of Wales...y'know...the real one!!!...it was built in 1664 but there was an earlier version there previously...it was a family home / estate & then it was a youth hostel until it closed and was sold to the Canadian, there are plenty of original features left inside as well as springy floors and floors with holes in them, so if you go...be careful...it's getting worse though....there's also a really cool gatehouse and walled garden...for loads more pics of it check out my Flickr - https://www.flickr.com/photos/123148087@N06/
