I drove past this on my way home from Cheltenham yesterday so stopped for a look.
It has got to be one of the most unstable buildings I've ever been in. I'm sure it's held together by the wallpaper and carpets.
In fact in one room on the ground floor the floor gave way underneath me and I found myself bouncing up and down on a trampoline made of carpet!!! I still went upstairs though
A bit of History:
Stretton-On-Dunsmore on the A45. Known locally as Bob's Cafe, it was popular with truckers and bikers on route from the West Midlands to the southbound M1 Motorway. When the M6 Motorway was linked to the M1 in the 1970s the A45 lost much traffic and the cafe went into decline closing in the 1990s.
It looked nice on the outside...
But inside it was bad...
Still a few little gems inside...
This fireplace is upstairs, and technically shouldn't be 'outside'
About 4 of these TINY bedrooms! Just enough space for a single bed and nothing else.
And about 200 yards away was this place... I think I was about 2 weeks too late, this would have been a good explore, but in this state I really didnt want to push my luck... It still smelled of burning from just being stood outside.
It's a place called GOJI - Or better known as Crazy Daisy's Nightclub
