Stumbled across this place a few times and came across it again while walking the dog today. I have had a quick look for some info on it but not had much luck. it is one of 11 around the national park. It was a bit of a climb to the top but the view was worth it. A bit spooky - i heard rocks falling or' being thrown' and the dog whined the whole time we were within the dug out walls - probably something and nothing (hysterical woman syndrome maybe) but i didnt hang about to find out. As always, you know I am no professional with a camera... but take a look any way
just follow the path and you find this - further on in the photos you can see the top of this building, it has two huge circular holes - makes me think this is some sort of feeder where the rocks were put on the trains for transport - would welcome your thoughts
a few of these on the way up
view from the top
