BUSM and I.V.I Nail Production Site, Leicester.

Part of the BUSM site in Leicester, I.V.I Metals produced nails and tacks for the shoe industry, not much of the main factory left but loads of side rooms and places too poke around. A good day out all round.
Have recently found out that the entire site faces demolition in the coming months which is sad, suppose it is in a state and not much can be done with it tho.

Someone really wanted into that safe !!

Yep, we went in the shelter. Im just sorting the pics out now. Didnt find the boiler room tho but MD suggested it to me. We're going for a second look soon as we ran into a man employed by the owner who said he doesnt mind us going in the I.V.I side of the site and photographing it as long as we dont hurt ourselves ! Result !
Dont know if id dare go up the water tower, i can be a little wimpy with ladders that big !
Glad you like the last photo, was my sisters idea and a good one at that !

Was very accidental, the other pics in the shelter came out fine ! My cam was just playing up i think...Looks okay tho so i dont really mind !

I have been trying to get in contact with the owner of the site !! a company called trafalger investments or something like that is heading up the housing project but the building work is being done by another company.

As i want to visit the site to do a photoshoot.
