Found myself working in this part of the world so paid a visit one night after work. A very interesting, relaxed explore around this old mill in Wales

What on earth are those cup things outside??? Weird or what. I would not have expected to se fibre on the looms, it's like they've just knocked off to change shift!

They are a close up of the old waterwheel, it does, there's an order pad on one of the machines and balls of cotton and wool all over the place

It's a Pelton wheel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelton_wheel
It was used to generate electricity - one of the very first 'public' electricity supply systems in that part of the world. The actual waterwheel is on the other side of the building.
