We've just got back from France, founs a couple of great explores!, need to upload the pics BUT....one place just utside of Carcassonne puzzles us, no one there seemed to know what it was, we think it's called Chateau de Moreau and it was either a jail or an asylum judging by the cells there...anyone know about this place?, it was complete in 2009 when Google earth mapped ir but burnt out sometime later....freaky place, be nice to find out some history, thank you.

It used to be a winery, owned by a prominent family.
Then it was a famous squat for years, & then several fires occured.
An investor bought it intending to make shopping malls out of it, but now the project is doomed due to political change in the city council. Now, it is said to be a future "exposition park", someday, somehow.

, the cells were strange, no doors, just a window/hatchway with a small shelf on both the inside & the outside...weird!, will upload pics later on today or tomorrow, ALSO we found a derelict coaching inn & mansion, loadsa pics to come!
