You've heard of, maybe even seen, the film Cemetery Junction, Ricky Gervais, etc, etc.

Cemetery Junction is actually a junction, in Reading. More commonly it refers to an actual area of Reading, around the cemetery. The cemetery itself is triangular, fitting neatly in between two roads that shoot off from one of the main roads out of town, where the A329 parts company with the A4. The older part of the cemetery, furthest away from the point where the roads split, is quite overgrown and deep in places, with the newer, more open, part nearest the point.

Here are some of the interesting bits:

And one of the most extraordinary sets of graves I have ever seen:

Finally, right here, near one of the most densely populated and busy parts of Reading, a pair of tiny muntjac deer, in a blurry grab shot I'm afraid:

Looks like a delightful site. Those urn-shaped graves are quite bizarre, though...never seen anything like that before.
Love the little muntjac.
Cheers, Alan. :)

Well done that man, it is a place I have driven past dozens of times thought of visiting evry time I saw the place just never got around to it. Think you have now renewed my enthusiasem to go there. :)

Back in my naughty days I had to spend my Sundays pulling frozen rubbish out of the ground here! I could never believe how many deer there were.
