We decided set off for a long walk through the fields and ended up traversing through a dense wood, a sloping cliff and tons of bracken, but it was worth it when we finally arrived at the active Cemex quarry, luckily it was the weekend and the place was deserted. The machinery on site was very impressive and we climbed to the top of the conveyor and were treated to great views of the surrounding quarry ! We left the site by using the main access road and as we scaled the gate we turned around to see a sign that read “Danger, this site is not a play area, Stay Out” This is like a welcome greeting to avid urban explorers
We also found a huge underground pipe that was connect to a little stream, the circle detailing on this was very artistic and looked great with the light shining through.
