Was working as usual this morning, and have been looking at this place for a while so thought I would pop in and have a look, its great the places I can get into with my wagon, and no one asks you any questions.

Excellent site! Love the conveyor that feeds through a tunnel...never seen that before...nice and unusual. Cheers, Sheep.

Cool find sheep, the conveyor through the tunnel pic is great, also like the caotic layout of conveyorers in pic 12

That's really interesting. I live near an old Cemex cement works and quarry. The layout is very similar, particularly the conveyer going down the sloping tunnel.

yeahp coalville has some good looking holes!
wales also has some awsome quarries, when we were doing a job near aberdovey we had togo pick up some slate from one and there must of been 20 old trucks sitting waiting to be buried under slag real old old trucks foddens and bedfords

not good places to go when it's really wet though. That cement slurry sticks to yer boots like glue.
Yup! Got stuck up to my ankles in it at one quarry and literally had to dig my feet out with my hands.

Would love to know a little bit more about this ! Did you get any pics of them ? And who owned the quarry ? Was it Tarmac ?
