The centre was built in 1969 for ATV. In 1981 ATV became Central Independent Television and remained in the building until 1997 when it was closed after being diagnosed with a building condition called "concrete cancer". The centre is now awaiting demolition.

Nice one, some cool shots there. The lighting in the screening room is well funky Every time I see pics of this place I say we will have to take a look, but still not got round to it lol
