Sorry about the amount of pictures but i had to do the place justice! As we set off there was talk of "will there be any workmen there? Or will we be ok?". The answer was - sort of!
Cerebos closed fully in 2001 as Sharwoods Factory. Over the years it has produced numerous brands of food that YOU have probablys ate! Over the last year it has detiriorated rapidly after being stripped. However, the whole place was just generally smashed up. All you could hear was Drip, Drop, Splodge... We didnt many to get any externals from the front as the fire brigade were doing some demonstration thing. I know it has been done before, but maybe not to this extent.
Welcome...
Nice reed Garden on the roof!
Its a very odd shaped building.
Weight from one of the very heavy fire doors.
Storage Warehouses. This is the oldest part of the factory and was the first part to close.
The bridge that would have carried food along to the distribution warehouse.
However, production was halted...
Many documents and files were left behind.
Sharwoods left some of their secret recipes
The training kitchen
Medical Centre
No idea what this is, but it was full of mouldy curry.
I certainly wasnt ready to eat these!
Atora Suet
Cool 80's computers
Again another oddity
Engineering Office
Letter about the closing of the factory
Floppy Disks
Engineering Stores
Mindless Vandalism
Mouldy Old Phone
Workshops. All the glass roof has been smashed.
There was certainly none on the shelf
Workshops. All the roof has been smashed opening it up to the elements.
Glass Building Is Boiler House
Basement Boiler Rooms
Round the back
Soup Line
I waited to be served...
But changed my mind as there was nowhere to sit!
I had fun playing with my new flash gun. I needed it because in some parts it was PITCH black! I also nearly fell into the red swimming pool thingy!
Hope You Enjoyed
Jack!
