This place closed in the 1950s, but surprsingly much of it is still intact. Well..the interesting parts. Not much else is known about the place, as google ain't helping me much. Apparently it continued to operate during WW2, because all of the young lads who weren't bright enough for the army, went to make bricks. Here's the pics from today:

Not entirely sure what this was, I could have gone in..but having 50 tons of corroding brick above me made it not such a good idea.

Someone seemingly burnt a bed in here once.

It was possible to go inside the chimney as well, but the massive amount of sleeping pigeons put me off, and this mountain of bird ***** in the corner did too.
