Just got back, looks pretty awesome, glad I went there. I got a bit lost finding it, damn iphone, peice of crap sometimes.....

I went with a mate, and its only my third urbex, so excuse the photos, I was a little nervous!


I took them on photo mode, on a Canon XM2.

All in all a great third explore, really interesting site, a lot better than has been portrayed on other sites.

Nice one mate - been meaning to get to this place for ages now as it's just down the road - seeing these pics has re-invigorated me to go.

I dont think there has been any recent activity, the graffiti is all dated 2006, and a sandwich wrapper had the expiry date of feb 2007. Its very very residential round the site, but I didn't spark any attention, I didn't park out the front like some people do lol!

Nah I selected the ones I liked, theres another 100 or so offline.

I didn't even know about this place till I saw it on here, so went there with a mate of mine, but he had a phonecall and I had to take him home...

It was a ******* to find as well. But I'm glad I did, I initally drove up to it, but didnt risk parking there, so parked half a mile or so away

Are you serious?! It's been torched, smashed, graffited and saturated with water. I can assure you, it's not in a nice state. The police obviously weren't doing their job when this place was being destroyed, because there are houses opposite and I refuse to believe that all that destruction went unnoticed.

One of the outbuildings (which oddly had a bath inside) had already been torched. How did you hear of the fire this week? That's a disgrace. It makes me so sick the way people think it's fun to destroy things like that.

It was in the news. Yes it pisses me off too, it was the older victorian part as well, not the newer bit. Makes you want to not brake when you see them cross the street

Nice report. There's lot's of natural decay too which is 'nice' too! Judging by the directional sign there's a lot of departments implying it's a big place?

Love the outside of the building, looks like it used to be a grand place years ago,. Looks like there's loads of things still in there, lots if interesting features too.
