On the way home from a day of exploring, we spot this little church that appeared to be disused. After a quick look around, it was clear nobody was around so it was time to look inside…

No history or information on this one in order to protect the items left behind.

Cheers guys, The skull is pretty cool isn't it! I didn't have much time here so hoping to head back soon for some close ups, not too far from me :)

Awesome dude, second photo wins, but they're all great! Cheers for not turning down the opportunity, and for sharing the pics!

Have to say that the 2nd is my personal fav too lol! Had an epic failure of kit here when I didnt notice the great big mark on my UV filter until I looked over the shots at home so many were ruined a little... at least it was just a filter though and not my lens!

Cheers for the comments :)

I really hope you do get back; it is only in the smallest of interior detail that the real history of this place speaks to you, and that deserves to be recorded with the thought that your images always show. Unfortunately your excellent 'general' interior views cannot hope to capture this fully. It is interesting that people have commented on the skull. However, this example of the monumental mason's art could only be described as average when compared with other similar pieces from that period. The really telling portion of that image is the area that shows how the reclaimed wainscoting was cut to go around the carved 'support' of the memorial plaque - a minute reminder of the small community that cared for and improved this building over those long distant years.
