Well this was a unexpected visit to be honest, I set off to find the boys lost village of Adel! Upon realising that there was noooo way what so ever in there, I have well and truly missed out on that one unfortunately. So thinking, argh, where can I go now! I knew this was in the nearby vicinity so decided it was worth a quick visit before that is too gone forever!

I did it sometime last summer (You now know what I did last summer) erm, yeah, however then every single door was blocked up, this time, quite a few sneaky entrances, sadly, I had silly shoes on and everywhere seemed covered in glass, I had no torch, no hard hat, but most importantly no man! so I could not bear to venture far, I am easily freaked out and legged it at one point after seeing a curtain blowing bed sheets on the floor and thought, uhmmmm thats me done! You know when your heart is in your mouth! So I ran! So most of my images are exterior shots but all the same it is I find quite an interesting building so all in all worth it if you've a couple of hours to kill!

I hope you enjoy my shots, I know I haven't seen any of it around for a good while now so it will be good for people to see its current state before rushing there, they can decide if its worth it beforehand!

But everyone knows of it, so I'll not waste time with the history and instead on with the pics.

Couldn't resist the ending shot!

That's a nice building that but photos are always destroyed by watermarks through the middle of them.

Stolen? Are you planning on selling them? If so best not post them on the internet. If not then a watermark is pointless and only ruins the image.

It's an old argument, but honestly the watermark is not necessary. If you must have one move it to the edge of the image.

cracking little place..hopefully you will go in next time so I can see more of the inside..I ain't sure myself but I think you can remove the watermarks quite easily of a photo by doing something with the exif data.cheers for sharing.

You may notice that 99.9% of photos on flickr, on here and on the internet in general have no watermark across the middle, the only exception to this are professional quality stock photos which are sold commercially. They don't because it ruins the photo with almost no benefit over putting the watermark on the edge of the photo.

There's no rule on here against it, but it does ruin the photo and really misses the point of posting photos on here which is to document and present the location, but in these photos my eye is instantly drawn only to your website address. I would really appreciate it personally if you move it to the edge of the photo in the future.

When were these pictures taken? Coz I was there a few weeks ago and didn't see half of what you have here ;)

Looks a really interesting place.

Watermarks? What watermarks? A quick whizz thru with the healing brush and a little cloning and they are gone!! :)

have to agree on the watermark - 100% ruins any photo and I tend not to look at images that have them. The images can still be "stolen" anyway so it's 100% pointless - no upside and downside that it ruins the images and some, like myself, will not look at them.

Nice pics, but seriously I doubt anybody will try to pass them off as their own.
