Do we know why it is on stilts??

If it is fairly near a water source it could be a maltings, or malt-house. Grain would have been soaked and then spread out on the floor of a raised room to dry, sprout and ferment, before being turned into beer.

Humans are funny, but at least they invented beer.
 
i managed to get a shot of inside of it ill show u :)

just researched online and its a grain store
