Wasn't really exploring, (geocaching actually) but had a look at these 2 places.
Didn't think they warranted reports individually, but don't believe either of them have appeared before.
Had my lad & dog with me as usual & the rubbish camera so no stunning pics I am afraid.
1st off we had a look in an old water works building of some sort at the west end of the res.
Unfortunately I cant find a Dam thing about it (sorry couldn't resist)
Any information regarding Cransley water works usually points to the older buildings at the East end, which incidentally are now under conversion as part of "Cransley Eco Parks" (The now owners of the entire res) new eco energy centre.
This building is incredibly easy to get in & it therefore surprised me that there was "some" stuff in there still. Nothing too exciting, old switch gear / bilge type pumps stc. It all feels pretty safe, but was a bit alarmed where u can see down next to some of the old floor pipes to see that the whole floor appears to be over water!

Ok we then went into the woods to the east end of the res. This bunker is again pretty much in full access of the public, but cant find anything about it?
Why is it there? seems a very strange place, not near any of our airfields or particularly any houses.
Its essentially a half buried entrance into a tunnel of 4 or 5m, then opening up into a single room.
The latter appears to be constructed of wood, but I think had concrete on the outside of this. The wood is in pretty poor shape with a musty rotting smell to it which only intensified the "not very safe" feel to it. Needles to say I didn't spend to long in here!
