saw this house about 2 minutes walk away from my house, and for some reason i really like it.

from the looks of it it was built at the top of a little uneven hill and is starting to fall down, looks like it was abandened a while ago.

has barb wire and danger signs all around it and is next to a busy road and houses, so didnt really go up to it, but by the looks of it its completly boarded up anyway.

hope ya like it.

It looks as if it's sliding down the hill!:lol:
I know what you mean though, sparky...there is something about it that's very likeable. Nice find. :)

what a great looking house. Looks like it was just built on the hill with no foundations under it !

its possible it was an own-build and the foundations were too thin/forgotten or maybe the ground below has moved and the foundation concrete base has snapped......
If I lived nearby I'd be in there like a shot, but on a quiet day with no wind.

Interesting double window on the right though :)

not sure, as havn't seen inside, looks boarded up well from the front, not sure from the back. there is no roof, just the odd bit of wood, looks like just the brick left like an empty shell now.

I know about this house, it's next to the huge roundabout near tescos in burseldon, southampton.

It used to be a farmers house in about 1920ish, about 30/40 years ago there was a fire there and has been the same ever since. I guess it's the weathering that has done the structural damage - where there is no roof

Nice little place you've found there. Looking at the very large crack down the side of the house, it's similar to buildings that are built over mines or tunnels. Not sure if there's any mines there or not, but there's quite a lot of houses around my way that have cracks similar to that that were caused by all the mining in every town and village all around my area. A pair of semi detatched houses had to be demolished a few years ago from subsidence.

Nice work though, I like it.

A bit of Pollyfiller and it will be fine. ;)

It is a nice looking house though and such a shame it's snapped......
