After going last time and said I would never go back I was asked if I wanted to go this weekend. After very little persuasion I said I would, I went with onmyown and a none member who was there about 4 years ago and showed us around.
We met up at 7 and made our way to the entry point which again has been blocked off, so I took them to the watery entry point I used last time, onmyown had a slight dip getting in but we didn't :)
Well! all in all we spent over 4 hours there, its still quite intimidating but not as bad as being on your own there. We have notice though that even as the place has only been closed a few years, the weather has played hell with some of the upper flooring rusting and rotting away fast. We did start to climb one of the conveyers and got half way for my foot to nearly go through, so turned around and carefully made my way back down.
While on the way out we passed a couple so asked how they got in, put it this way, it didn't involve water and was a lot quicker. (So I know just in case I want to go again)

You've made this more appealing to me, an this is not my usual stuff as you know, so cracking job on it mate, you really got some good shots, which has sparked my interest and maybe other peoples :)

What a great set of shots fella, you've made the place look very appealing and I want to go back there. There's so much to look at. I'm glad we didn't go any further up that conveyor,it was treacherous enough without the rotten flooring. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and your company, cheers fella..great effort.

It's well worth a trip mockingbird, pretty much the only heavy industry you'll see in the UK. It's one of my favourite sites personally.

Thanks cunningplan, good to see the place again.
