Nothing much on the history side here that I could find. This decoy bunker is due east of Grantham. Would never have found it without the help of RichCooper (cheers mate!). Rich covered it last March (2014) and given the dull day I went cannot add anything photographically either! That aside the pristine condition of the bunker compelled me to visit. The fact that it is well hidden explains why it is in such good nick and free from the usual graffiti and vandalism. Rich thinks it could have been a decoy site for RAF Spittlegate or RAF Folkingham as it is pretty much in the middle of the two. I’ve also included a few pictures of a nearby pillbox and a few images from Saltby Aerodrome to make it a worthwhile sized report.

The bomb store is now fenced off and razor-wired up along with "Asbestos contamination" signs so that's a no-go.
